-
Is there a job too big or too small?
There is no job too small for us, but we try to stay away from larger commercial jobs, such as hotels and apartments.
-
How much time is needed to schedule services?
The sooner, the better, however, we are usually scheduled for at least two weeks out.
-
Is it cheaper to hang the drywall ourselves?
You may think it would be, but usually, our price will not change much, if at all.
-
Do you take the scrap sheetrock and haul away the garbage?
For smaller jobs like basements, additions, and remodels, we do. If the contractor you are working with provides a dumpster, we will use that. For new buildings, we require a dumpster to be provided.
-
How far do you travel?
We usually stay within a 100-mile radius of Sioux Falls, SD.
-
What takes longer, hanging or taping and texturing the drywall?
The taping and texturing process usually takes longer than hanging the drywall.
-
How many coats of mud does it take?
First, we will pre-fill any large gaps. Then, we tape all the joints and put corner bead on. Everything gets a fill coat, followed by a skim coat, then sanding and texturing.
-
Do you have to sand a lot?
We try to do as little sanding as possible but there is usually some involved in each job.
-
How long after texturing should I wait to paint?
We suggest waiting 24 hours before painting your walls.
-
What are the most expensive and cheapest texture options?
The most expensive would be smooth texture. The cheapest would be crow's-foot ceilings and orange-peel walls.
